Erin Jones-Wesley

Prior to joining Club 42, Erin was the Communications Coordinator with Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy in Compton, a non-profit that provides baseball and softball instruction and opportunities for high-need communities. She planned and coordinated large-scale community outreach events to drive and develop membership within the softball program. She was an integral part of the softball programs’ 300% one-year membership growth.  At the Urban Youth Academy Erin also created, developed and maintained a strong social media presence to support outreach efforts. Additionally, she operated as a spokesperson on different occasions, conducting on-camera interviews with the Academy film crew and ESPN3, among others.

 

A Southern California native, Erin holds a degree in Communications from California State University, Long Beach, where she flourished as an NCAA Division I athlete on the softball team. She currently holds the pitching records for: appearances, strikeouts, and wins. This was shortly followed as a professional athlete for Denmark’s softball league.
